How We Work
CAMADE works with industrial businesses to understand how it is positioned today, what it wants to develop, and what level of further work, if any, is justified. Following the initial review process, CAMADE either sets out the next steps or advises what needs to be improved before moving further.
How the Process Moves Forward
The sections below outline how the review is approached, how fit is assessed, and how the next step is determined.
Initial Review
The process begins with the available company information — website, brochure, product range, certifications, reference material and target-market focus. In some cases, this may also include an initial call to clarify the business, its products and its objectives.
The purpose at this stage is to understand the company at a practical level and form a first view of what is already strong, what is still weak, and whether the business is likely to justify deeper work.
Fit and Direction
The next part of the process is to look more closely at what the company actually wants to develop in international markets. That means understanding which products it wants to prioritise, which markets it wants to target, and whether that direction makes commercial sense.
Findings and Priorities
Based on the review, CAMADE identifies the main issues, priorities and possible next steps. Sometimes, the need is for stronger positioning or better market-facing materials. In other cases, the issue is product focus, market logic or internal readiness. The purpose is to clarify priorities before more serious time and money are committed.
Proposal and Next Steps
After the initial review stage, CAMADE prepares a tailored proposal based on the company’s current position, market direction, identified priorities and overall readiness. The proposal sets out what needs to be improved, clarified or validated, and how the next phase of international business development should be approached.
The proposal may cover commercial positioning, market-facing materials, product and market priorities, internal preparation, and a direct site visit to review production, machining, QA, documentation and operational discipline in more detail.
When the company is considered suitable for further work, the proposal sets out how CAMADE can take it forward into ongoing business development support and representation in external markets.
